Inmate Drawings (13)

Created on: 30 May 2012
  • This former skinhead carried immense sadness at what HATE had inflicted on him and others in his life... To read his full story of transformation, click on DrOP in Prisons > Prisoner Stories.
  • "Wounded Family Problems" represented this man's painful childhood, a sadness he couldn't shake. Until we took it through the DrOP, and he finally was able to let it go...
  • "Pressure Man" pressured this inmate to do more, be more, achieve more - never allowing him to feel at peace or good enough. A simple conversation helped him get smaller, younger, and friendlier!
  • "Pressure" was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders - causing this inmate to feel constantly stressed... until he learned that he could, in fact, put the boulder down.
  • "Mike" was handless, footless, shackled, and engulfed in flames (left). Soon the flames disappeared and he grew feet and hands (right)... until, ultimately, he was completely free (bottom)!
  • "Someday" lived on a mountaintop, lonely and riddled with extreme perfectionism (left). He eventually let go of his perfectionism (middle) and allowed himself to be fully present with others (right).
  • "The Great Unknown" showed this man shackled to a huge, long ball and chain that kept him tied to a painful, guilt-ridden past. After the DrOP, he declared, "Chains are Gone - Got a Song!"
  • This man's father had put amount of pressure on him, rescuing others like a superhero. In the end, he was able to put both feet on the ground and realized, "I don't have to have all of the answers."
  • "Keth", "Smiley", and "Adam" had quite a complicated dynamic between them which was made much more calm and symbiotic with the help of some DrOP communication!
  • This inmate's heart was healed simply by watching the group DrOP presentation. He awoke to realize that it's OK to feel everything he feels... resulting in total clarity and peace. :)
  • This man was plagued by constant mental anxiety and stress - overthinking everything, concerned for everyone. This terrible state was replaced by a beautiful, bright new vision for his life...
  • Anytime this inmate felt challenged, this 9-headed monster rose up with defensive arguments, making him feel out of control. "Dragon" transformed into a shield he could pick up at will.
  • "James the Protector" was the part of this man that felt powerless to help his family outside of prison. In the end, the ball, chain, fence, and overbearing family disappeared, and he was free.
